# Day 1

We will pick you up at the airport and take you to Kumai sub-district about 25 minutes from the airport, Kumai is a port village west of Tanjung Puting National Park and also the entrance to Tanjung Puting national park. After arriving in Kumai we can go straight to klotok and we will introduce the klotok crew who will accompany and serve you during the trip. If everything is ready, we can start the journey to tanjung puting. It takes two hours before we arrive in the area, it is very possible for you to see some animals such as several types of birds, monkeys, water lizards and wild orangutans along the way on the river to the first station if we are lucky.

After arriving at the first station we can immediately go see the orangutan feeding at 3 pm, there you can see around 5 or 15 orangutans if you are lucky. After that we return to the klotok and continue the journey on the river to see monkeys that are very easy to see in the trees around the river such as long-tailed monkeys, Probusces monkeys / long-nosed monkeys and Lutung / silver monkeys. After dinner (or before dinner) if the weather is good we can also take a night walk to look for nocturnal animals and mashroom / night mushrooms that glow in the dark forest which can usually be found in the rainy season.

Summary : Airport-Kumai Pier-Kelotok (wooden boat)-Lunch-Orangutan Feeding at Camp Tanjung Harapan (15.00 WIB)-Look for Proboscis monkeys on the river side- Night Trekking.

# Day 2

You can wake up early to enjoy and listen to the sounds of animals such as birds, monkeys or the long calls of male orangutans, after breakfast and coffee we can continue the journey to station 2 to see the orangutan feeding at 09.00 am.

Trekking to Orangutan Feeding

After seeing the feeding at station 2 we can continue the journey to station 3, and if we leave early, we might be able to see crocodiles and some animals along the way to station 3. The 3rd station we call Camp Leakey to see the orangutan feeding at 2 pm, Camp Leakey is the last camp where it is located upstream of the Sekonyer river at the right intersection where the water is black. When we go along the black river, often if we are lucky we can see freshwater crocodiles / crocodiles and also long-nosed monkeys and wild orangutans.

At Camp Leakey there is an Information Center which is usually open from 12.30 to 14.00 WIB where we can see pictures of orangutan families that have been released there and some research results in Tanjung Puting and other options we can do if we don't want to visit the information center and we can do a little forest trekking before we see the orangutan feeding at 2 pm.

After we saw the feeding we went back to the klotok and went to the nipah area near the exit to see the fireflies and moored our klotok around them and slept near the firefly tree.

Summary : Breakfast- Orangutan Feeding at Camp Pondok Tanggui (09.00 WIB)-Kelotok at Sekonyer River- Lunch-Orangutan Feeding at Camp Leakey (14.00 WIB)- Sunset- Dinner- Fireflies Area

# Day 3

In the morning after breakfast and taking a bath in the river where we spend the night, we continue our journey home and on the way home we can still see our last animals before arriving at Kumai village again and ending our tour. Around 9.00 we arrive in Kumai, and we will take you back to the airport or to the hotel if you want to spend the night again in Pangkalan Bun.
